By accessing or using BackyardGolf's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily access the materials on BackyardGolf's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notations
- Transfer the materials to another person
3. Product Pre-Orders
Pre-orders and Kickstarter pledges are subject to their respective terms and conditions. Pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines are subject to change. We will notify all pre-order customers of any significant changes. Refund policies for pre-orders will be detailed at the time of purchase.
4. Mobile Application
The BackyardGolf mobile application is provided "as is" and is subject to the terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality on our website and products—including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software—are owned by BackyardGolf and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Product Warranty
BackyardGolf products come with a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period and terms will be specified with each product. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall BackyardGolf or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use our products or services.
9. Disclaimer
BackyardGolf is a practice aid and entertainment product. It is not intended to replace professional golf instruction. Use the product safely and in accordance with provided instructions. Always be aware of your surroundings when practicing.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or website notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
